About Before the Floor Systems
Before the Floor was created to support restaurant leaders in their pursuit of a successful, fulfilling career in the industry I've loved so much.
I'm Jess, the creator of Before the Floor Systems. I've been working in restaurants for 30 years and I've seen how often employees and leaders can be overwhelmed without systems or tools that make operations more manageable. Many will get caught in a cycle of reacting to problems, losing precious planning time to proactively address tomorrow's challenges, and ultimately face burnout.
Much of my work has focused on identifying operational snags and building processes to make the job easier and more enjoyable, plus increase standards and consistency for the organization.
The tools, guidance, and programs you’ll see here were created from my own experiences in numerous corporate and private food service and retail organizations. I also offer coaching and consulting services, please reach out to me if I can provide more targeted help for you or your organization.
